Slave Pen Iron Gate

Iron Gate built and installed by Stephen O'R. Curtis, owner of Vintage Metalwork, Inc. The design of the gate is based on Civil War era photographs of the original iron gates that separated the men's and women's areas of the slave pen. The authentic hand hewn post was reclaimed from a time period building and donated by Kenneth Foster.
